In Fort Lauderdale, Fla., USA, The Dalmar, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, offers guests a downtown alternative to the city’s beachside destinations. DesignAgency worked with the Wurzak Hotel Group to conceptualize the brand identity, interiors, and everything from the signage to the flip-flops that can be used throughout your stay. The result: a vibrant and harmonious guest experience that reimagines the hotel as an urban-tropical oasis where business and leisure travellers can mix with local residents to enjoy The Dalmar’s laid back, open-air surroundings.
The interior design takes inspiration from the golden age of American travel and references mid-century modern and classic South Florida style filtered through a contemporary lens.
The Terrace Grill
Our design for this dining space at The Dalmar is inspired by classic bistro style, but updated with an aquatic palette to suit the coastal setting. The interior includes plenty of greenery, plush upholstery, and a calming material palette to create a fresh and breezy urban escape.
Sparrow Rooftop Bar
The Dalmar’s rooftop bar is vibrant, playful and eclectic, blending retro-inspired modern interiors with lush greenery and expansive city views for an unexpected dining and cocktail experience.
