Soho House Toronto

DesignAgency was tapped by visionary Nick Jones to realize and help establish the first and only Soho House location in Canada. The challenge was to keep on-brand with the Soho House aesthetic while respecting the character of the architecturally significant building. The space has a reception lobby, ground floor restaurant and bar, first floor restaurant and bar, second floor event space with bar, and third floor summer dining space with bar.

The design introduces quintessentially Canadian elements such as including wood panelling and flooring, rustic accents, trophies and other evocative art alongside a mix of contemporary custom furnishings and character pieces with handsome patina and provenance. The spaces are adaptable for events, screenings and yoga as the membership calendar requires.
