Surrounded by 400 rolling acres in New Jersey’s Somerset County, Pendry Natirar is a stately rural escape offering fine dining, wellness experiences, seasonal outdoor activities, and luxurious hospitality. To convert the property’s circa 1912 Tudor-style country mansion into a 66-room hotel.
DesignAgency drew inspiration from the bucolic estate and the traditions of England’s country manor homes, reinterpreted with a modern sensibility. Our design team reinvigorated the property as a journey of experiences, establishing a restaurant and bar, Great Room, library, billiards room, and private meeting rooms. Spacious guest suites, a spa, and gym are located in a newly built addition by CosciaMoos Architecture.
Original ornate plaster ceilings, stone fireplaces, wood panelling, and oak flooring were preserved and restored to give the interiors instant charm and an authentic sense of history. DesignAgency introduced new layers of rich materials, contemporary furniture, art, lighting, and polished finishes to create a design that signals a new era of expressive luxury.

Ladd’s Tavern
Ladd’s Tavern at Pendry Natirar is a classic, all-day, culinary-focused tavern that was designed to embody countryside hospitality and modern elegance. Our interior concept features a bright sophisticated palette, contemporary furnishings, and floor-to-ceiling windows and doors framing stunning views of the landscape and encouraging flow to the wide welcoming terrace.
Ninety Acres
Ninety Acres is Pendry Natirar’s signature farm-to-table fine dining destination where historic charm meets contemporary design. Housed in what was once the original estate’s coach house, the restaurant features warm wood accents, moody lighting, exposed brick walls and a rich colour palette that cultivate a timeless, rustic, and inviting atmosphere.
Spa Pendry
At Spa Pendry in Pendry Natirar, our design interprets Moroccan Hammam design traditions (in homage to one of the property’s former owners, King Hassan II of Morocco) through mosaic tile, woven textiles, and hand-raked plaster in organic hues to create a modern sanctuary of serenity and seclusion. The immersive spaces support a full spectrum of rejuvenating experiences, including beauty services, a fitness centre, sauna and steam rooms, mud therapy chambers, and a Himalayan salt room where mineral-rich air promotes deep relaxation.
Mother nature is front and centre at Spa Pendry.

Guest Rooms
The hotel’s 66 guest rooms, including 20 suites, are spacious and light-filled, featuring gracious mullioned French doors that open to European-style balconies, allowing guests to enjoy fresh air and nature. The interior of the guest rooms preserves the peaceful sanctuary of the bedroom, anticipating the needs of guests and exceeding them with ease and elegance.
