NeueHouse Venice Beach is a private members club and cultural hub where intellectuals, professionals and the creative community work, dine and socialize. Inspired by the notion of an endless summer and Southern California’s legacy as an epicenter of Modernism, the design concept features a palette of warm-toned woods, sandy shades and mossy greens. Furniture and lighting are simple and organic, expressed with materials that are luxurious, textured, and earthbound. Custom design elements celebrate history, innovation, collaboration, and the hand of the maker.
The floor plan is mostly free-form, easily adapted to varied programming. Shared desks and focused work zones, a podcast studio, wellness areas and an art gallery effortlessly flow into vibrant dining and lounge spaces. The dramatically re-imagined interiors and seismic upgrades to the historically significant 1920s structure reactivate this location as a bastion of creative energy.

Interiors are imbued with an earthy palette and soft, textural materials.

Hockney’s “4 Blue Stools”
In the private conference room of NeueHouse Venice Beach, warm wood and veined marble frame David Hockney’s “4 Blue Stools”. The artwork is established as the focal point of the space and anchors our design in Hockney's history in the area.
