Minami Toronto, created for Aburi Restaurants Canada, offers Japanese-inspired cocktails, premium sake, and refined sushi plates in a 4,600-square-foot space designed for activation from day to night. Located in the city's Entertainment District, the restaurant interior blends warm, contemporary aesthetics with striking art. Guests are greeted by a vibrant mural by Japanese artist Hideki Kimura, whose whimsical imagery of koi, lotus flowers, and frogs reflects his unique cultural roots. Kimura’s hand-painted work, digitally adapted onsite, anchors both the lounge-bar and dining room, and is complemented by custom lighting, rich textures, and intimate design details that elevate this modern dining experience.
