Jacobs & Co. Steakhouse entered a new chapter with its flagship location at Toronto’s CIBC Square, featuring interiors by DesignAgency. Spanning 14,000 square feet, the concept reimagines the classic steakhouse through a contemporary lens by introducing new experiences, including an elegant raw bar and curated retail offering that reflect the brand’s gradual evolution.
A rich material palette of walnut, polished stone, and burnished metals shapes a setting that feels both warm and elevated. Custom furnishings, bespoke lighting, and layered textiles create a heightened sense of comfort and occasion. Throughout, glass-encased displays of rare wines, dry-aged meats, and fresh seafood become theatrical focal points designed to spark curiosity and whet appetites.
The result is a singular destination which reflects and reimagines the signifiers of the classic steakhouse, bringing to life a singular dining destination that raises the bar for Toronto restaurants, and for steakhouses everywhere.
Raising the Steaks
Guests journey through a choreographed sequence of spaces: a bar and piano lounge leads into a raw bar, formal dining area, exclusive private dining rooms, and two all-season terraces. Leveraging the location’s downtown context, the interiors draw on the city’s cosmopolitan energy.
